Born in Walthamstow, Essex, England, I have written poems and short fiction from an early age and I am now publishing the result of that lifetime's practice as you read, or listen to my work, graphics in words and added pictures, and comic, in that there are some laughs, if you get them, if not, hard luck, try again. WarFair4: is a serialised e-novel reviewing the economic banking and credit crunch crisis of the first decades of the 21st century of Global Secular Economic-Political and real Religious Wars through the perspective of a Clerk and Banker meeting on a train on The Day The Markets Stood Still. Into The Abyss, follows Rogue Citizen, to become Global Citizen, and to scan forward into a pragmatic, democratic, and technological future, through inter-personal dialogue, dialectic and journalistic diagnosis of real historical, and futuristic events recounted, from Tunisia and Morrocco to Myanmar. From Ukraine and Nigeria, to the future of the world as a whole. My auto-biographic of Walter Mepham is so sub-titled because Walter's story is also driven by true events, now with added photographic illustrations, and in the first person. Like a truly personal ghost story. Walter is a maternal cousin of the author, from Kent, and Sussex, and London, England. Born 14th March 1898 killed 30th November 1917, Cambrai, France in the first World War, 101 years ago recently. The story is inspired by real events; and the story of one family, of brothers, of which only one survived. Of parents, of which only one, their mother, my great aunt Caroline Mepham, survived; their's, and our stories told into the millennial future, 2019: the future of war, conscription and conscientious objection, to all generations since. I have also published my father's autobiography of love and war: Albert George Stow of Walthamstow (1915-2014), in his own words. Albert was a conscientious objector in the second World War, and the family and personal reasons behind this are questioned and explored through personal story and testimony; and place.
